5.0 out of 5 stars IT"S ABOUT TIME FOR "DESERT MOON"!!!, August 6, 1999
By A Customer
when i first saw this cd and noticed that dennis deyoung's song "desert moon" was on it, my heart almost stopped. FINALLY someone had the good sense to put this song back on cd, after years of it being unavailable. now if only the entire "desert moon" album could be released on cd! the rest of this album is great, too. another hard-to-find song, michael jackson's "farewell my summer love", makes the cd twice as valuable. all of these songs brought back great memories of my junior year in high school, and made me wish it was 1984 again.

4.0 out of 5 stars Some hard to find music....., June 26, 2002
By David (Brea, CA) - See all my reviews
This is a really good cd for the music of 1984. The mid-80's had a lot of one hit wonders like Rockwell, with "Somebody's Watching Me'. I love that song and it's great for Halloween. Also Dennis DeYoung's "Desert Moon". A very hard to find song and it's great to see that one on this cd. I highly recommend you buy this one for your 80's collection.

4.0 out of 5 stars Worth your money!, June 23, 1999
By A Customer
This album has some great songs to remember times gone by. But one song makes the album worth the price. Dennis DeYoung's Desert Moon is beautiful. It is hard to get this song,so placing it on compliation is truly worth the price. Not to mention the great .38 Special song. A must have album for anyone who has a fond memory of 1984!

I bought this CD mainly for the hard-to-find song, "Desert Moon" by Dennis DeYoung. Another hard-to-find tune on here is "Farewell My Summer Love" by Michael... Read more
