When I dream...I dream music...I walk in rhythms and sync...as I sleep dreams become...shapes, shades and people become music to me..I'm not even conscious of it...but when I awake the notes flow from my mind to my hand and I have brought my dream to life...Dreams are many things to many people...they reflect hopes...desires...days gone by...and things to come...what really matters is that we never stop dreaming...

Dreaming For Real is music that Mister Potts dreamt and memorized while asleep, then wrote down after waking. He composed most of this album in the middle of the night and early morning, before the memory of these musical dreams could fade, as happens with many dreams. The music of "Dreaming For Real" is soothing and meditative. He used his large collection of synthesizers and samplers to create lush musical tone poems that capture the otherworldly sounds of the dreamstate. "Dreaming For Real" was recorded at Mister Potts' studio in Los Angeles and was engineered by Larry Mah from Chick Corea's Madhatter Studios.
