5.0 out of 5 stars Horror Movie Madness, January 8, 2000
By A Customer
We have played this CD at Halloween for the last couple of years. It never fails, we have at least fifteen requests for the title and where to get it! Even people who are not familiar with these movies are very impressed with the haunting, skin crawling effect the music from them have. Those who are familiar with the themes just want the CD! For those who really get into the Halloween spirit, this CD is a MUST HAVE!

4.0 out of 5 stars Well worth your money, June 3, 2003

Obviously these are covers of some of your favorite Horror movie themes. While not as good as the original, most are worth listening to. This CD is a must have for halloween, especially since I have yet to find a compilation of the original horror themes.

Surprisingly I really enjoyed the 2nd CD entitled "Music of the Vampires", but then I also enjoy much of the music in the infamous series of games known as Castlevania where you battle vampires. Normally any music I've ever heard labeled as "vampire music" has been amateur goth with some corny gothy singing. I find this is the first CD that hits the nail on the head when it comes to vampire music. And if I can track down more vampire music Matt Fink (author of these two CDs) has written, I would purchase it.

4.0 out of 5 stars Listen to the 2nd CD, September 3, 2002
When I bought this, I ended up disappointed. The mechanically reproduced versions of famous themes were terrible, Tubular Bells (the theme from The Exorsist) especially...HOWEVER....there was a second CD in the package. It is an all original piece called Music of The Vampires, and worth every penny you spend on this CD. I have three in my collection, just to make sure I never lose it. Every year since I first found it, I put this CD on before any others as I decorate for All Hallow's Eve.

Enjoy, children of the night.

I found the second CD "Music of the Vapires" at a garage sale. I have never listened to the first one, so this is a review only of the second CD.
