In the early nineties, the Hawaiian Style Band rode into the island music scene on swingy-reggae rhythms and wholesome vocals. Hawaiian Style Band put forth a new definition of island music right in the midst of an exploding local music industry after the somewhat dormant eighties. Before buying this CD I'd only heard one of HSB's songs, but I figured I'd give them a try. To date, they are my favorite Hawaiian Band of all time, right next to Brother IZ himself. The spirit of their CD's, especially this one, truly reflects the Island Spirit of Hawaii. So many of these songs are simply wonderful... their music will kindle the Hawaiian spirit within you. I highly recommend this album, along with their album Rhythm of the Ocean.

Beautiful instrumentals, wonderful songs in the native language you cant help but sing to and songs about love and life in the islands.
