4.0 out of 5 stars A band with great promise, March 11, 2000
By Robert L. Thompson III (Columbia, MO USA) - See all my reviews
I heard about this band over the internet and decided to check them out. Featuring music that is kind of in that spooky-core vein ala Coal Chamber's s/t cd, with a bit of techno added into it, great bass, and some wicked guitar work, although the drums are kind of weak and the music is not quite as heavy Coal Chamber. It's the vocals that steal the show featuring Matt Zane whose psychedelic sounds are just mind-blowing, at times sounding like 3 to 4 different people. So even though the music at times can get boring and the lyrics repetitive and annoying this is still a great cd. Check it out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Electro-hardcore at it's finest., June 26, 1999
By A Customer
This is something new and cool. I like it when my friends come over and they're like "Who's this band?,they're cool!" It's not like "Oh you're listening to that new Korn cd again. This cd is a good one to listen to while driving too. It's really fast at times and hard but takes you through some tripped-out zoning as well. It has a very Now electronic edge.

By A Customer
Society 1 kicks ass!!! I saw them at the Whiskey in hollywood and they were awesome. The music is heavy as hell and they mix in some great electronics, not to much, just the right amount. Best songs are Help Me and Thinking Is The Link. you got to check these guys out!!!
