The ignition key turns with a satisfying ratchety sound, the steering wheel rotates, and the front wheels are entirely mobile, making quick turns and sudden reversals a snap. It's powered, in the best Flintstones tradition, by your little one's feet moving under the seat, and there's an extra seat in back for a friend to ride along. Like any proper emergency vehicle, it also has a siren and flashing red light, located right on the dashboard, that activate with the press of a button. I have had three of this item in the past 3 months and am not happy with any of them .I am returning the third one soon. Steering and wheels are not working correctly. Two children can tip it over also. I bought it for my grandchildren and the kids in my daycare center.A BIG disappointment for me and a BIG hassle to keep returning it to the factory.
I have the Police car and the kids LOVE it and play with it every day.
I have lots of climbers made by this same company and they have held up for years. 30 years experience in buying childrens toys.

Bought this for my 16mth old son, He absolutely loves it. Have not had any trouble with it. The only negative things I can say is the sticker for the pretend redlights on top keeps peeling off ( the cop car had real red/blue lights on top) And the second thing is it has no doors so be careful when turning they can and WILL fall out and hit their head on the driveway!Got back up and ready to go again. But he just loves it, The price was reasonable, shipping was high, But it was a good investment, we keep it in the garage out of the weather, so it has held together great. So overall I highly recommend this to anyone who wants a ride on Firetruck for their kids, Oh the back seat is great too, he rides in both places. They never get tired of being pushed so be ready for lots of pushing/pulling fun. Works great on concrete,grass,asphalt... Assembly was Very Easy.

I have toddler twin boys, and this was a Great Gift! No one feels left out with this toy! They are learning to take turns driving and riding! My big 7 year old daughter often sits on the back and pushes with her feet to move the car, while one of my sons enjoy the front view! This is a VERY durable toy...We have had it indoors and outdoors for over a year now, and it is in like new condition! A Must Buy for parents with more than one little one at home!
