The Aiwa HS-TX481 radio cassette player offers several popular features at an affordable price. Its digital tuner is perfect for frequent travelers who want to receive radio programming while on the go, and its long battery life allows you about 18 hours of listening time (with two AA batteries).

The Aiwa HS-TX481 sports a lightweight design, making it easy to carry during exercise or general use. This tape player contains all the essential features, including fast-forward, rewind, and both single and continuous-loop reverse capabilities.

While the player's slick metallic design is pretty, it might confuse some users. We were particularly perplexed at the hold button, which operates correctly with a turn, rather than a push. Also lacking is a standard radio station scan feature. However, the player does contain an auto-preset feature that scans for available radio stations and automatically configures presets for stations with a strong signal. The unit can hold up to 30 different stations. The HS-TX481 also includes headphones and a detachable belt clip.
