Editorial Reviews

From the Artist
"MMMmmmmyeeeahhhH! First Degree The D.E. "Planet Zero" is my second album, known for its hardcore, complex lyrics and dark, creative beats. Come with me to a place where very few go... After several appearances on that Brotha Lynch Hung "Loaded", the nation was waitin to see how I would follow up. The Dark World of "Planet Zero" was produced by First Degree The D.E. and Phonk Beta and features Lynch and more. On "Planet Zero", I display a style that will never be duplicated."

By TERAN (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews
The DE is the most creative artist in CALIFORNIA right now. He has this unmatched style and tight beats. He keeps you interested well after you bought the CD!

4.0 out of 5 stars Blackulaaaa, November 27, 2005
By DarkAudio "matt" (San Diego, CA) - See all my reviews
Damn it's the D.E. This is a tight CD folks. I don't know what to say about First Degree, except I'm lucky to have found out about him. I first knew about Lynch, Mr. Doctor, Sicx, X-Raided, C-Bo, etc. from the Sactown crew years and years ago.. but for some reason I never really discovered the D.E. until just now. And I'm happy I did.. he has a very sicc unique style.. at first I thought some of his vocals sounded like E-40 imitations, but then eventually I realized his sound is way too dark and his range is way crazier than E-40. His beats on this CD are tight too, from Phonk Beta, and all around his music has grown on me a lot lately. It's dope, go grab some of it folks. This is a great CD.

If you have any kind of preconceived notions about what rap music is supposed to be, don't buy this album. Its brilliance might blind you.
