5.0 out of 5 stars Wonderful, December 25, 1999
By A Customer
If looking for a recording with pure Scotish bagpipes and drums, look no further. Every song is different and wonderful. Amazing Grace is spectacular.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not so great..., December 29, 2000
By "ca_piper" (California,USA) - See all my reviews
I am a piper from California, and while this album is not too bad, I have heard much better. In track 6, Amazing Grace, The band does not 'come in' or 'go out' at the same time, creating a nasty sound. And ask any piper, Amazing Grace is a highly overrated tune... Track 9 is titled: Pio Braireachd, which is a bad misspelling of Piobaireachd (pibroch in English, 'ch' as in loch). Piobaireachd is a Gaelic word, and is a very respected, and traditional form of Highland Pipe music. Most Piobaireachd are around ten minutes in length, this track is only around five minutes. Not only is this not a traditional Piobaireachd, but the piper who is playing it is not blowing his pipes hard enough, there is a 'crow', or a screeching like noise, in the high A, or the highest note on the Highland Pipes. Not an album I would buy after hearing it.

5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, September 10, 2004
A Kid's Review
I think this set is wonderful. from my own personal point of view, there are much worse bagpipe sets out there. I know and love this type of music, but this tops all my other bagpipe CDs.
It really brings out the meaning and feel of Scottish music.
It was worth my money, and if you like this type of music, this is right for you.
