4.0 out of 5 stars Zebra - 'King Biscuit' (King Biscuit Flower Hour), March 17, 2004
Anyone but myself remember Zebra?Sure you do,they're the trio that made TV appearances on MTV,Rock Concert, etc when they first hit the scene. Many fans thought they reminded them of Rush.Actually it's been noted that Zeppelin was their main influence.King Biscuit had released this CD which includes segments from two live performances.Houston,TX in 1983 and Long Island(their hometown) in 1985.Randy Jackson's Page-like guitar licks and Geddy Lee-like vocals sound nothing short of true brilliance here. All eight tracks here wail, but to refresh your memory, there's "Who's Behind The Door?",the beautiful ballad "Bears",the "La La Song","I Don't Care" and "Tell Me What You Want" that make me sit up and take notice. There's also a twenty minute interview that reveals that Zebra STILL exists.

4.0 out of 5 stars Guitar Classics, July 1, 2000
This band can really take your mind away with great Guitar works throughout the whole show. The singer came up strained in trying to hit the notes in "Tell Me What You Want" but the interview is fun, especially if you love their hits but don't know much about the bands history (just an extra bonus). The album itself is worth hearing the guitar melodies.

4.0 out of 5 stars Zebra:Live and Loud, July 19, 1999
By "mhodson" (Farwell, MI USA) - See all my reviews
Randy Jackson and the boyz are captured in this early live performance. The sound quality isn't as good as Live, but it gives one the sense of being there. I have been a fan since the begining. I have never seen them live and in person. But it's the next best thing to being there. Other King Biscuit CD's to check out:Triumph, Romantics and Blackfoot.

4.0 out of 5 stars Brief but nice...
I'd never have a bad word to say about the boys, but the disc itself left me wanting more. The sound quality is about par, but the band's playing is as tight as ever. Read more
