3.0 out of 5 stars Okay for the money, but..., December 7, 1999
By A Customer
One important thing to note that was not mentioned in the product spec's: the camera has four resolution settings, which take up variable amounts of memory. At the lowest resolution setting, the camera can store up to 96 photos, but the images are pretty lousy. At the highest res setting, the images are great but the camera can only store up to TWELVE (12) photos. Unless you want to lug a PC around, you will probably need to buy additional memory cards.

5.0 out of 5 stars Terrific Value, December 6, 1999
By A Customer
I needed to purchase a digital camera for my office and within a limited budget, the Agfa 780C fit right in. I personally own an Epson PC700 ($699 digital camera) that we've been using until our office bought one. Although the Agfa 780C isn't quite the same as my Epson (and I don't expect it to be), it is definitely a terrific value for under $200! Very easy to use, I highly recommend it for those on a budget, new to digital photography, and especially for use with web pages and online auctions.

5.0 out of 5 stars Happy with my purchase, December 2, 1999
By A Customer
I shopped around a lot before I bought my agfa 780c, I picked it because it had the most features for the dollar and I wanted to stay under $250. I am happy with the camera. It came with software, the cable that hooked it to my PC, batteries, a leather pouch and another cable to show the pictures on TV. The first try uploading to the pc...it didn't work.. but my cable wasn't plugged in all the way. I have had no problems uploading the pictures since. Yeah--it ain't my dream camera--my dream camera was $300 bucks more! Again, I am very satisfied with my purchase.

Also- ordered it on Saturday night--recieved it Monday --with regular shipping! Thanks Amazon!

Agfa ePhoto 780c Digital Camera

This camera is PERFECT for taking pictures for selling items on ebay.  Even at it's highest resolution, they are often acceptable for website posting and ebay auctions.  Have enjoyed it for a few years now, but am ready to fiddle with my SLR camera
