Editorial Reviews

Product Description
Fourth album released in 1999 provides a mellower approach than previous albums, almost Pink Floydish but with the Lake Of Tears sound still present. 8 tracks. Black Mark.

5.0 out of 5 stars 'A cross between Metalica and Pink Floyd', February 11, 2000
When i picked up this album i did not know who LOT were, but after 20 seconds of the first track i was hooked. The sound on this album is truly amazing, crank this one up. Track 1 heavy crunching guitar medolic lyrics catchy chorus even a cello solo.Track 2 very Metalica like very slow but 'heavy'a great guitar solo great song.Track 3 the title track and this is some track this is where Pink Floyd comes in, this is one of the most addictive songs i have ever heard, this one will be in your head for ever. All the tracks are really good heavy, soft, instrumental, this album has it all and should have a government health warning ADDICTIVE give this one a listen you wont be sorry.

5.0 out of 5 stars Give it a chance!, January 14, 2003
Up until now, I had no idea who LOT was, but when I heard their first song on this album, "So Fell Autumn Rain", I was intrigued by the beautiful violin intro. Their music is catchy, unique, and I think anyone who likes goth-metal or Type O Negative, like myself, will find this album a good addition for their collection! Try it out!!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very emotional, June 17, 2000
It is a nice step forward for the "goth" genre.Indeed, it is impossible to describe this release easily. As otherbands in this area have done (HIM for example), the emotional depth and intensity of goth are there, the slow, churning, cello-driven songs are all here. WHat sets this record apart is its nice variety. Without falling within stereotypes, Lake of Tears have crafted a rich, dense album that is not a bore to listne to from beginning to end. If emotional power is your cup of tea, with a definite metallic undercurrent, give these lads a listen.
