Editorial Reviews

Amazon.com
No surprises here: Teaching Mrs. Tingle, the black comedy from director-writer Kevin Williamson, follows closely in the demographic footsteps of his previous project, Dawson's Creek. And the soundtrack for Tingle? It's filled with bittersweet love songs from Eve 6, Tara MacLean, Sozzi, Kendall Payne, and the Moffatts. Fans of this sort of youthful earnestness (or the Dawson's Creek soundtrack) will be in bliss, the rest of us might want to pass on this disc. --Jason Verlinde

5.0 out of 5 stars This soundtrack rocks!!!!!!!! :), August 29, 1999
By A Customer
If you are a big fan of the music they play on the WB's "Dawson's Creek," then you will love the soundtrack for "Teaching Mrs. Tingle." When I was watching the movie, I was thinking, "Wow, I like these songs, I have to get this soundtrack!!!" Like the Dawson's Creek soundtrack, this album has songs from artist's that aren't too well known yet, but have lots of talent! :) "Sorry" by Stretch Princess, "If I fall" and "Seventeen," by Tara Maclean, "Til I cry you out of me" by Sozzi, and "Misery," by The Moffatt's have to be my favorite songs on this soundtrack. I highly recommend this album and believe that it will make a great addition to anyone's music collection. This soundtrack truly ROCKS!!!!!!!!! :)

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the best soundtracks so far!, March 21, 2000
By Tsoi, Yee-Wah (Bielefeld, Germany) - See all my reviews
This CD is actually one of the best CDs I have heard in a long time. All the songs are a mix between pop/rock. If you like the Dawsons Creek Sountrack, you will LOVE this one. All the time when I watched the movie I thought "Oh my god! I have to get the soundtrack!" It is not that you can listen to the CD just for a few weeks, you can listen to it over and over again! It is just overwhelming. My favourite song is Emans "Shut Down". If there is anyone out there, who can tell me something about this great singer, please, please write a message to me! Teaching Mrs.Tingle is a movie, which was not everyones fave, the circumstances were bad, but the CD has nothing to do with that. If you love music, you will love this one. Check it out!

5.0 out of 5 stars Sorry for you if you don't have this, July 20, 2002
By Mauro (Buenos Aires, Argentina) - See all my reviews
A great soundtrack.A great movie and a great Katie Holmes. The movie has the best love songs ever.

The best song of the album is Sorry, by Stretch Princess. That song is just awesome!, the background music and the singer's voice sounds perfect.

This is defenitily a must-have.The ending of the movie is perfect, 'cause it has Sorry beeing played in the back.

FINAL GRADE: A-(9)
