Its slim silver design gives it easy portability, yet its functions and features belie its small size. The Aiwa AM-HX30 is equipped with 40-second antishock and Dynamic Super Linear sound. It boasts a battery life of up to 21 hours and even has a three-point battery monitor so you'll know before the power runs out. Playback options include 25-track programmable play and a random play function. Included with the unit are an AC adapter, a rechargeable battery, a backlit LCD remote, and headphones.

This potable unit is great! +'s : sound quality is better than any Sony, 21 hours worth of playback time (1 A combined w/ rechargeable), super small and lightweight, nice factory-supplied swoop headphones, complete programming capability. -'s: control buttons a little small, must remove battery from the unit in order to recharge, takes a little longer than Sony md's when skipping from one track to another. Overall, a teriffic product!

This unit is the best MD player I own to date. I had a sharp 302, a sony mz-e33...both were too bulky. The sound quality is good as well, even for the most picky listeners. The only other player I want to try is the Panasonic J70 (the smallest yet). So, yes, buy this unit...but you can probably find a better pricing on the net.

I found the Awia player to be a very good deal for such a good quality player. The sound quality is good, at least equal with the Sony and Panasonic players. The player is very small and seems to be of good build quality. It is probably the best you can buy for the price.
