I've heard The La's in 1990, and I liked their version a lot, but this girl sings like a little cute she-mouse, and I cannot help falling in love with her and with this song... It is brilliantly reduced to the accoustic melody and meaningful emptiness... Really touching and tender... Pop in the best meaning of the word.
