Product Description
The Rogue River in Oregon State... Flows through a wide variety of country, from the flat plains north of Interstate-5, down through the steep canyons of the coastal range. Though many of the steelhead on the Rogue are what they call "half pounders"... There are some big fish to be caught as well. The Rogue River not only provides excellent fishing water, but terrific white water rafting as well.
Morrisons Lodge... Located on the banks of the river has been famous in the Rogue River country for 50 years now. The steelhead on the Rogue, once pursued by such angling luminaries as Zane Grey, are making an excellent comeback in this spectacularly beautiful river. Gwenn Perkins and guides from Morrisons Lodge pursue these historical creatures with gusto.
Fly Tying... Alec Jackson compliments an interesting several days of fishing on the Rogue by tying a "Skykomish Sunrise" from the Hooked On Fly Tying Popular Northwest Steelhead Patterns.
Knots... Dave Perkins demonstrates two new Orvis knots.
