Striper School... Interest in saltwater fly fishing has grown so rapidly in the past few years... Schools like the one you'll sample in this have been introduced to acquaint freshwater anglers with the somewhat different disciplines required in the pursuit of saltwater species. Excellent instruction from Gwenn and Capt. Chris Ryan, in the double haul and where to look for the elusive striped bass.
Flats Fishing... Gwenn joins Chris for a morning of striper fishing near Cape Cod, then teams up with Capt. Rich Benson of Fishing the Cape for one of those days on the flats of which dreams are made... Fish after fish fall to their flies.
Offshore Fishing... In addition to fishing the flats, Gwenn goes offshore with Captain Bob Benson and Captain Bob Luce on his boat, appropriately named, The Striper, for an introduction to fishing the rips off Cape Cod.
Fly tying... With Page Rogers, demonstrating the "Rogers' Sand Eel" pattern from the Hooked On Fly Tying Sand Eels and Silver Sides.
