5.0 out of 5 stars WHAT THIS WORLD NEEDS IS MORE STAN BUSH (AND MORE COWBELL!!), November 18, 2003
By Jeff Chisholm (New York, NY) - See all my reviews

OMG I am so excited about this CD that I am going to crap my pants. My eyes are watering with excitement about listening to this CD so much that I can barely see.

If you don't buy at least 10 of these CDs RIGHT NOW, then you are probably a terrorist.

You should buy more and give some away to charity. The malnurished and downtrodden deserve to hear Stan's uplifting message.

I am saddened that my 1,000 words can't do this genius justice. In fact, I should have just typed "genius" 1,000 times.

5.0 out of 5 stars Possibly the most amazing CD...ever..., January 19, 2005
By Billy Rosewood (Montpelier, VT) - See all my reviews
When people speak of great musicians most often one hears name like John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, David Bowie, Darry Hall (not so much), etc. Among this list should be Stan Bush. Very few words can describe the power of Stan Bush's lyrics. The only word I can thing of at the moment is orgasmic. It doesn't get any better than Dare. Did anyone see the transformers movie? When they played Dare while that kid and the transformer were fishing I thought to myself, "how appropriate!" To get off my tangent...Stan Bush is simply a lyrical genious...no a lyrical god. No other artist can bring tears to my eyes when I hear songs like "Fight To Survive" from Blood Sport...I love it when they chant kumite, it's not cheesy at all. Anyways I highly reccommend the purchase of Capture the Dream: Best of Stan Bush. Granted the only songs that I know are The Touch, Dare, and Fight to Survive, but an entire CD could be made of those three songs played multiple times. Stan Bush is a great man (he toured with Survivor!) and his CD should be purchased for that reason alone.

5.0 out of 5 stars Stan Bush RULES!, October 21, 2000
By "twalsh9097" (Roswell, Georgia USA) - See all my reviews
I am a dedicated Stan Bush listener. I remember when watching the Transformers Movie, I got goosebumps everytime "The Touch" and "Dare" was played. I still get goosebumps even now when listening to his new music. It is still as powerful as it was back in the 80's. I hope more of his music is released soon. "DARE! Dare to beleive you can survive!"
