The XLR8 MACh Speed G3 transforms the standard Power Macintosh system into a full-blown G3 workstation. It uses software and on-board switches to allow customization of bus and CPU speed for maximum system performance.

The upgrade installs in minutes into the standard CPU card slot. The user then registers on XLR8's Web site to receive the USB Performance Package, which includes the DualPort USB, Point&Scroll mouse, and PowerControl and PowerFrax software.

XLR8's MACh Speed technology fully complies with all future CPU specifications, providing the industry's first "trade-up" program, allowing you to upgrade to G4.

XLR8 makes the best G3/G4 upgrade cards for the Mac, but don't buy them at Amazon -- the prices here are higher even than the manufacturer offers.
