Today is the first time that I have ever heard this woman sing. For as long as I can remember Plasir D'amour and Parlez-Moi D'amour have been among my very favorite songs. All these many years I have been searching for the perfect recordings of them and never found one --- until I heard this cd. Several of the songs are on YouTube (where I discovered her) and you can hear the entire song. If you listen to them, be sure to have a Kleenex handy. I'm Irish / British, but enjoy French music, too. However, she is from Canada - not France!

Catherine McKinnon has a very good voice. It is a pleasure to hear her sing on this record. These recordings were done sometime in the sixties, I believe

Catherine has one of the finest voices ever. Her cover of "Today" alone would make this album worthwhile. Don't worry that these songs were recorded in the 60's. it sounds mgnmificent on my 5.1 system.
