Valentine is a solo artist. All vocals and instruments on this project were performed by Valentine, along with the support of a few guest musicians.
As a vocalist in his early teens, Val had to be smuggled into nightclubs because he was under age. A few years later he took up keys to cultivate his yearning for writing songs. Soon he was working in a band with members who were 10 years his senior; where he says, taught him the essence of groove. Years on the road lead him to Boston, where he attended Berklee College of Music on scholarship and studied piano privately with Charles Banacos. His versatility has carried him through gigs ranging from rock to jazz. He has performed in opening acts for Hugh Mesakela, Janis Ian, Betty Carter, and others. His music has been featured on many major television network presentations including: Mad About You, Today Show, Unsolved Mysteries, and 60 Minutes. Val is also, head of his own music software company which markets Drumtrax software.
