Editorial Reviews

Product Description
An Irish rebel band that features the virtuoso guitar playing of award winning producer and Boiled in Lead member, Adam Stemple. Though the tunes are folk in nature, the CD is not limited to the common instrumentation of traditional music but includes (to name a few) a Hammond B3 organ, a Little Tykes keyboard, and a 75. mm Howitzer. 5.0 out of 5 stars Bloody Irish Music, December 22, 1999
By GUINNESS JON (Wopakaneta,Ohio) - See all my reviews
The Tim Malloys are an agressive Irish band that hail from Minneapolis , Mn. "If You Were Walking" is their first studio produced recording, and was released on St. Paddy's day 1998. They released a live cd 4 years ago, but very few copies remain. Good luck trying to find one. If you like Irish rebel music, or the likes of the Pogues, Waterboys, ect. then this is the disc for you!

4.0 out of 5 stars Love these guys, April 28, 2000
By Peter Hentges (Minneapolis, MN USA) - See all my reviews

The Tims are a fast favorite. Their rollicking live shows are a blast, improved by being in places where Guinness is served. This CD is a nice sample of their tunes, a mix of traditional, contemporary and original music given own unique treatment. It could only be improved by being longer and better capturing their live performance. Their latest CD, =Drunkards, Bastards and Blackguards= does those things and will get my 5-star review when it arrives here.

5.0 out of 5 stars The most fun you'll ever have....., September 6, 2000
By "midnight_7" (Saint Paul, MN USA) - See all my reviews
The Tim Malloys are absolutely amazing-and without a doubt the most fun you will ever have if you go see a performance. They're currently playing a local pub every Tuesday and never fail to bring in a full house. Never before have I had more fun or seen a more talented group who has just as good of a time as the crowd does-and as the night goes on, the crowd gets more surly(and drunk) and so do they. They do a range of music from trad. Irish rebel songs to covers of the Pogues and U2 as well as original material. If you are ever in the Twin Cities area you absolutely must go see them-check out www.timmalloys.com to view their current schedule.
