5.0 out of 5 stars I like chicken., May 13, 2000
By Ben Wolf (Millington, MI) - See all my reviews
This is an amazing CD from an amazing band. I know everyone else hassaid something along the lines of "These guys kick ass;" so Iwon't say it, even though that's true. However, I have to say that this is honestly one of the best CDs I've ever heard. The guys sound like a cross between Tool and Deftones, but with their own style mixed in. The CD has some of the most interesting vocals I've ever heard, sounding angelic at one moment and demonic the next. There's really only one word that can describe these guys, and it's "AMAZING!" These guys have me traveling 3 to 4 hours just to see a 40 to 90 minute concert set. More power to 'em!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent cd, February 5, 2000
By Robert L. Thompson III (Columbia, MO USA) - See all my reviews
Somehow or another I happened across this band and when I placed their cd in my cd player I was completely blown away. Hard, aggressive Toolesque music overlaid with a vocalist who can rap, scream and sing with the best of them. I would probably say a mix between Tool and Deftones but definitely with their own brand of music, Factory 81 is a band that needs some definite attention. Go check them out before they totally blow up. Also check out Juice, Supersoul, 20 Dead Flower Children, Spine, and Incubus.

2.0 out of 5 stars This sucks
This cd (stinks). It's not very good at all. "Ephedrine" is a decent song, and so is "Nanu". That's pretty much it. Everything else is ridiculously unoriginal and generic. Read more
