you were 17 and went cruising with your dudes? You were probably blasting old Metallica or Guns-n-Roses, smoking cheap cigarettes and passing around a bottle of Boone's Farm. Well there were other nights too. You were probably in the back seat of your girlfriend's car, parked in some dark hidden place. If you were lucky she had Samantha Fox on the tape deck. She'd be singing along to 'Touch Me' as you were copping a feel. Well those days are long gone, and that old girlfriend is somebody's wife now with a couple of kids. But the memories remain. Samantha Fox was queen of the hip-hop eighties. These teeny-bobber girl singers of today should take a lesson from Sam. She didn't write her own songs either, but her sexuality could be felt through the speakers. C'mon you know you couldn't walk down a record store ailse without looking at her album covers. She was great, she was the 80's. Oh I miss those days...............

THIS IS PERFECT FOR PEOPLE ON A BUDGET OR PEOPLE THAT DON'T WANT TO BUY THE ALMOST [price] " GREATSEST HITS " UNTIL YOU KNOW WHAT TYPE OF SONGS ARE THERE . THIS IS THE PERFECT AFFORDABLE INTRODUCTION FOR SAMANTHA FANS AND R & B , DANCE - POP , HOUSE , POP - ROCK FANS. THIS IS ALSO A GREAT COMPILATION BECAUSE THIS CD HAS TWO TRACKS NOT ON THE OTHER COMPILATIONS : TRACKS 3 & 4. BUY THIS CD . I ALSO RECOMMEND THE EXCELLENT SAMANTHA FOX- " 21 CENTURY FOX "CD , KARYN WHITE- " MAKE HIM DO RIGHT ", PEBBLES- " GERATEST HITS " and JODY WATLEY- " AFFAIRS OF THE HEART ".

Yeah, it's another Samantha Fox Greatest Hits release. This time BMG (?) is in on the act with "Hot Tracks: The Best Of Samantha Fox". All the American hits that charted are here like "Touch Me", "Naughty Girls" (again an edit) and "I Wanna Have Some Fun". Oddly missing form the small collection is her quirky "I Only Wanna Be With You". Even odder is the fact that songs are here that have never been on a hits set before like two of my faves form "Samantha Fox", "That Sensation" and "If Music Be The Food Of Love". Not to mention the cute Stock Atiken Watermen made "One In A Million" form "I Wanna Have Some Fun". It is a cute little overview of Sam's career, but not her best Greatest Hits Set. Either the "Hits Album" or "Greatest Hits" are better efforts. Still enjoyable pop, tough.
