4.0 out of 5 stars Heart of Mine, May 14, 2000
By CLH (New York) - See all my reviews
The main reason that I bought this CD was for the song Heart of Mine by Peter Salett. It's my new favorite song! The rest of the soundtrack is amazing, too! I'm not too big on instumentals in general, but the instramentals on this CD are well worth listening to! I HIGHLY reccomend this CD!

5.0 out of 5 stars Preaching to the converted, April 22, 2000
By A Customer
If you're here, you must have seen the movie and liked the music. So I'll keep it brief and reassure you that, yes, the music in the film was great -- and the cd is worth it. The Peter Salett tracks are definitely the highlight, but the whole album is terrific. Hurrah for Ed Norton!

3.0 out of 5 stars The Best Songs, June 5, 2000
By A Customer
The best songs on here are the two tunes by Peter Salett (and okay, the Elliott Smith song). I recommend that you go directly to the Peter Salett section and check out his cd "Heart of Mine" - yes named after the song in this movie. Then buy it. You won't be sorry.

4.0 out of 5 stars *missing track
I really enjoy this soundtrack, but the tracklisting is off a bit. There are actually 18 tracks on this cd. It's misprinted on the cd sleeve, as well, though I have no idea why. Read more

3.0 out of 5 stars Missing something
While I like the soundtrack, the most interesting peice of music in the film was the gospel rendition of Ayn Kelohenu, which was left off the soundtrack. What a pity!
