A hybrid of elegant design and sonic splendor, the FS-8000 numbers among JVC's Executive Stereo living room systems. Created with audiophiles in mind, these systems electrify any setting with their dynamic sound and stunning look. The FS-8000 features a champagne-colored aluminum faceplate, a top-loading, motor-driven CD door, and a 13-watt-per-channel amplifier/tuner with three-mode gain control.

The speakers form the heart of this system. Within the European cherry wood enclosures sit four-layer edgewise-wound voice coils and an 8-inch, 60-watt bass reflex subwoofer. The four-layer voice coils enable the speakers to handle considerable power, and the shielded bass reflex enclosures let you place the speakers directly under, over, or adjacent to a TV screen with no visible distortion.

The FS-8000's one-bit digital-to-analog converter, optical digital output, motor-driven volume control, and electronic bass and treble controls all contribute to the system's clear tone. A range of digital soundscapes is at your beck and call, and Active Hyper-Bass Super Pro gives low frequencies a boost while minimizing distortion.

The FS-8000's CD player can sequence up to 20 tracks. Included in the package are a standing, full-function remote control; an auxiliary input; and a subwoofer output. A dual-layer fluorescent display illuminates all the FS-8000's functions, while JVC's Compu Play automatically starts the CD player, cassette, or radio at the touch of any command.

The JVC FS-8000 has a unique speaker system with real European cherrywood satellite speakers and a separate powered subwoofer. The subwoofer can be easily hidden, and provides exceptional bass. This stereo features a top load CD player, digital tuner, 13 watts per channel for the main speakers (with a separate 60 watts for the subwoofer), Active Hyper Bass Super Pro, and full clock radio functions; all built-in.The system provides outstanding sound with edgewise-wound, 4-layer voice coils and Shielded Bass Reflex speaker design. The JVC FS-8000 also features 1-bit D/A converter, Electronic Bass and Treble Controls, Motor-driven volume control, Digital Tuner with 30 FM and 15 AM Station Memory and COMPU PLAY. Dual-layer Fluorescent display features analog clock when unit is off. Full function remote control is also included.

With awsome sound, this system is a great buy, if you can afford it. Just think twice about its cost before spending so much.
