About the Artist

The Liturgical Organists Consortium consists of five memebers, Mary Beth Bennett, Robert Gallagher, James Kosnik, Alison Luedecke, and Lynn Trapp. Their aim is to promote the use and appreciation of the organ and its vast repertoire in the Church, and specializes in the traditions of the Roman Catholic Church. The Consortium is sponsored jointly by World Library Publications and the National Associaiton of Pastoral Musicians.

Chant Mosaic Organ Music Inspired by Chant by the Liturgical Organist Consortium. Organists have used chants as basis for their compositions and improvisations for centuries. The Liturgical Organists Consortium, in their continued effort to promote the liturgical use of the organ, has recorded some of the most noteworthy of this body of work. Included are compositions by noted composers, including Jean Langlais and Flor Peeters, as well as newly composed compositions by Consortium artists.
