I have had lots of problems with this drive. The first time, the minCDRW just would not burn a CDR. After trying all that the technical support asked me to, I finally shipped it back to Archos. I was assured that there was nothing wrong with the miniCDRW and it was shipped back to me. The problems persisted. I shipped it back to Archos who then replied that the miniCDRW was defective and replaced it with another one. With the replacement, I had another set of problems. The miniCDRW would burn a CDRW disk but gave problems of calliberation area full and buffer underwrite error with CDR disks of standard brands like Imation, Maxell and Memorex. Interestingly, the miniCDRW could burn a HP CDR disk. The problems are still persisting and I have lost count of the number of CDRs of different brands that I have wasted in trying to get the miniCDRW to work.
