The soundtrack is a good collection of Alternative and Hip-hop. There are a couple of songs that are funny like the killer rap. That is funny and that's okay because its a spoof movie. The other songs that are serious are good to. I really like this CD because there are a lot of new songs on here that don't appear on the artist other CD. That's usually what i hate about soundtracks you don't get any new music but this album has like 7 or 8 new tracks. I really like it.

After watching Scary Movie twice, I realized that it was mostly hype, and that all the good parts were in the trailers. But when I watched it for a second time, I listened closely to the sound and the music and how it played a role in the movie and the parts it was put in. Personally I thought that it was actulally very good. The music may not make a lot of sense, but the sound really sets the mood fo reach scene in the movie itself. Bottom Line: Wait for the movie on tape/dvd/laserdisc, but get the cd if you like a variety of music.

Cool Mix of songs. The Killer Rap is funny too! The black eyed peas track is cool. The song with Rock, Rampage and Rah Digga is dope too. From the Alternative side I like the Silverchair song, Oleander is cool, Bloodhound gang & The Fountains of Wayne song(I think this is the song from the movie when doofy drives off). Oh ya there is this group called radford on the CD i have never heard of them before but there song is pretty good. They have like a Goo Goo Dolls vibe. Anyway its a pretty cool soundtrack I am happy with my purchase!
