2.0 out of 5 stars Broken Camera, June 18, 2001
A Kid's Review
I had a Vivatar camera in just like this in blue. It was a nice camera, not expensive to care for, unlike my older Advantix one. I decided that I would take it on the trip of a lifetime, to Space Camp, Flordia. I had a rool of 24, and right when I took the wound camera out of my caring case, it slipped out of my hand and fell onto the semi-soft carpet. I picked it up and tried to take a picture, but when I pressed, the button only went down. It wouldn't wind, either! That was also going to be my last picture. With the first 2 days on it, it is still sitting on the counter. If you must buy one of these, then don't drop it!

3.0 out of 5 stars Learn from the tech master..., April 5, 2005

(REAL NAME)
So, this is the thing, any serious techie traveler knows that u have two sets of everything. The main set costs all the REAL money, mostly digital stuff, and u don't let other people breathe near it. Then u have the crap that u travel with. Stuff that's so cheap that it doesn't matter if u lose it, or if it's stolen, or whatever. This is my traveling camera. It functions perfectly, and if it breaks, hey, it was cheap.

5.0 out of 5 stars For the Toy Camera Photographer, March 30, 2007
By kkrome25 "kkrome25" (California, USA) - See all my reviews
There is a photographic genre called "Toy Camera." Just do a Google search and you will know what I mean. Anyway, this is just one in hundreds of different plastic toy cameras that photographic artists use to create photographs that present concepts rather than the optical performance of the lens and cameras themselves. And like all toy cameras, this camera should not be dropped, as breakage is very likely. The lens performs on a subpar level compared to the finest Japanese and German lenses (as expected & desired); and is unpretentious in assorted, bright colors.
