First of all, I want to say the title of this album is truly unique and true. With God, we will never be the same. :-) This is a great album. It has current praise and worship songs with a modern twist to them. They start the album out great with "The Heart of Worship (When the Music Fades)". Greatly arranged and sang by Matt Redman. I have never heard of him before this album and I am going out to buy his brand new album tomorrow. That is how much I like him now. He also sang "O Sacred King". They are both greatly done. Then we hear from The Benjamin Gate singing "I Will Never Be the Same". Wonderful song! Then from Deliriou5? we have "Jesus' Blood". GREAT! Then "Whisper My Name" from Chris Tomlin, "I Could Sing of Your Love Forever" from Eli, "Did You Hear the Mountains Tremble?" from Raze, and The "Hands And Feet" remix from Audio Adrenaline. All of these songs were great too! But...the highlight of the album is track #5, where "Shout To ther Lord" is sang by Rebecca St. James. I have never heard this song sang this way. The arrangement of this song and the vocals of this song are MAGNIFICENT! Rebecca St. James once again, took a song that is originally slow and turns it into an upbeat modern song! Man....she is GREAT! "Eterne: Never Be the Same" is probably in my top 5 albums of the year so far. This album pulls it off with two wings and flies! GET IT!

This is a great CD. Don't get me wrong, but I've never been a fan of worship CD's. I do enjoy worshiping the Lord, but not many praise albums find their way to my CD player. But this is different. The artists effectively convey their love and worship and position of awe to God, while keeping a certain pop appeal. These are all worship songs (some might be familiar to listeners) with dance/techno beats and just is a better attention-getter than most traditional praise music. I do recommend it to boths fans of worship music and moreso to those fans of techno and dance music. One great pick from this CD is the moist, updeat techno version of 'Did You Feel the Mountains Tremble' from Raze. It's and excellent dance track while it still retains the worshipful quality of the song.
