About the Artist
Marco, born 1959 in Italy. Self-taught musician playing with various jazz ensembles in Italy before venturing to Pune, India, in 1978, where he met Osho and became involved in the musical scene of his ashram. In the eightie= s Marco travelled throughout the States and Italy playing and composing Meditation/World Music. 'Laughing Drums', (Bauer), 'Dancing Tribe', 'Let Go', and 'Inside Out', for Nazca Music mark some of his latest accomplishments. Marco currently resides in India, composing and recording music on Tantric Meditation Techniques at the Osho commune in Pune. Rupesh, born in 1958, hails from Mexico City, has dedicated 25 years to the study of Eastern and Western percussion and to spiritual growth. An eclectic musical career, Rupesh has traveled extensively in the US, Japan, Latin-America and India, recording with Upanishad, recognized for their performance at the Olympic Games in Atlanta, Deuter from Germany, and in 1994 releasing his debut album 'Laughing Drums' (Bauer) followed by 'Living Drums' (Bauer) in 1997. Rupesh recording for Nazca Music include ' Dancing Tribe', 'Let go', and most recently 'Inside Out'. Rupesh unites his skills as a performing percussionist, his fascination in body awareness and grounding techniques and offers worldwide workshops which are especially well received in India, Japan and Europe. Evident in the Rupesh experience are decades of world influences that blend Caribbean, Afro-Cuban, and Eastern rhythms along with select modern elements of ambient trance and techno music. Harida, born in 1949, in Chile, studied classical drums and percussion at the conservatory in Santiago and Rome before continuing on to Spain to participate in Mirasol Colores and several avant-garde and Latin fusion projects notorious in the Seventies. Intrigued with Eastern mythology and Indian music, Harida traveled to India to study and at that time met Osho in Pune and began playing drums for evening darshan and meditations. Harida relocated to Holland in 1981 and continued performing in Europe. Harida co-founded Nazca Music in 1995, two years later his debut album 'The Gift' was released in Holland. His Latin roots, the meditative spheres of India and the inspiration of Osho, contribute generously to the magical style of Harida as he blends Eastern and Western styles in a seemingly effortless fashion. Harida has played drums and percussion on various Nazca recordings and has produced twelve releases for the label. Harida currently resides in Portugal, also home to Nazca Music and its studio.

Product Description
Sensual and stimulating, ethnic but with calm and elegance. Evoking the relaxed feeling of warm summer evenings, this album is full of loose dreamy melodies. The stalking rhythms of the drums, congas and percussion, along with the shimmering guitars, are wrapped in driving arrangements, which at times take of like an express train, at others drop you at that inner destination! Beginning with a joyous, feeling-good tune called 'Baba' it moves into' Zero' to be listened to through the heart. 'Monsoon' has the softness and mystery of dark, luminous skies. In a seven beat piece, titled 'Pura Vida' Marco's wondrous voice leads the music to the sensual realm of the heart, illuminated with the flute playing of Yashu. Pura Vida is a street mantra in Costa Rica, it means good life.
