Editorial Reviews

Product Description

In 1981 Adrian walked out the door of the Waterbury State Hospital and embarked on an odyssey through the bizarre and chaotic realms of his psyche. A cerebral landscape coloured with the heavy brushstrokes of a thought disorder - hallucinations, inappropriate behavior, delusions, and moments of absolute clarity and conviction. Beyond the pastels of Adrian's visions and the seclusion of his inner dialogue loomed the larger world.

Late in 1997 his psychiatrist, Dr. Fletcher collected the literary and visual fragments of Adrian's non-institutional life to make this video a reality. Adrian's therapy sessions, home videos, short stories, letters and personal accounts were studied, edited, and crafted by Dr. Fletcher with the cooperation of the patient and Milquetoast Productions to create "Naked Trees," a journey into the mind of a schizophrenic personality.

5.0 out of 5 stars Naked trees 5 Stars, November 16, 2003
By rich carlson (lyndon ,vermont) - See all my reviews
Naked trees provokes the mind to travel to the rural state of Vermont. Yoergs footage is dramatic.
