OPM, they're good fun, December 31, 2000
Well, first-off, I got this album for free-I work at Wave 106.9 in Hilton Head-so i can't say it was the best money I ever spent. Anyway, this CD contains, as other reviewers have said, a wide variety of music, which makes the whole album basically a good one. It's got rap, punk, ska and the like, but also contains songs with awesome acoustic rock'n roll riffs, which many people say reminds them of Everlast. This album is almost completely original, except for a few stolen riffs from obscure artists. Because of songs like Brighter Side, Better Daze, Dealerman, Reality Check, Fish Out of Water, and El Capitan this CD deserves a good spin in your player. As one who sees all kinds of music come and go, this disc is a keeper and one you shouldn't get sick of even after 72 spins a week. Also, after seeing them live in concert, I became even more impressed when they got a guy who was already having way too much fun to down a bowl of Captain Crunch with Captain Morgan's as the choice milk--this being the precursor to the song El Capitan. Needless to say the fun was regurgitated soon thereafter. Turn it up loud and have fun with this one.

Just about every type of music into one CD, September 16, 2000
By A Customer
When I firsat bought this CD, it was because of Heaven Is A Halfpipe. If your looking for a bunch of songs that sound jsut like that, look elsewhere. But, if your looking for 10 different styles all put together into one CD. Every song could stand alone as a single. There's everything from rap, to skater punk, to ska. This is now one of my fave CDS. BUY!

Top Down or the Sunroof Up, August 20, 2000
By A Customer
Great bumpin' boomin' grindin' music! This CD is being played in skate parks all across the country, and if I was Tony Hawk I would have the song HEAVEN IS A HALFPIPE played everytime I boarded. The music is a cross between Limp Bizkit and Smash Mouth. There isn't a bad song on the entire CD. From the first track, STASH UP, the interlude PUNANNY, the first single HEAVEN IS A HALFPIPE to the last song FISH OUT OF WATER, the cd is catchy without being trendy, gritty without being refried, and if you listen to it with headphones on you will pick up all these background sounds that become lost when played through speakers. Very hypnotic. Makes you want to cruise around in the jeep all day bumpin it with the top down. Yeeah boyeee.
