Mamborama is the brainchild of Grammy nominated songwriter and producer Bill Wolfer, who has worked with artists such as Stevie Wonder and Michael Jackson.

"It was originally going to be a part-time band, just to play a couple of times a month and have fun, but it became an obsession," according to Wolfer.
"I started writing songs for the band and I wound up traveling to Cuba to study piano. This CD has got to be my favorite of all the things I've ever recorded. It has such a natural, organic groove to it."
Product Description
Night of the Living Mambo is the premiere CD of the new Latin Jazz band Mamborama. Recorded in Los Angeles in July and August of this year, the CD features appearances by Tito Puente/Ray Baretto alumnus Art Webb, trumpeter Luis Eric, Violinist Susie Hansen and Cuban percussionists Jimmy Branly and Nengue Hernandez.
Mamborama plays high energy, Cuban-style Latin Jazz that is tailored for dancing as well as listening. A quote from Nengue Hernandez: "Man, nobody is playing Latin Jazz like this!"
