5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing, May 24, 2001
By "fitredawg" (Glasgow, WV United States) - See all my reviews
Take Uncle Cracker, give him some lyrics other than talking about how bad he is and you have Rehab. I saw the video on MTV and thought this was a joke but after listening to it a few times I decided to give the CD a chance, I ran out and bought it and haven't stopped listening to it since. It don't matter is definitely the best single but it definitely isn't the best song. Check out Sittin at a Bar to hear these guys at their best. My only fear is that just like every other band who had an amazing debut album on the charts, these guys will change their sound so that 13 year old girls will love them (**cough Limp Bizkit**). If you want an original sound with lyrics that come from the heart, check this CD out.

5.0 out of 5 stars a truly genius and shamefully underappreciated gem, December 7, 2004
By Wendy Edwards (the South, USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I stumbled across this cd by pure fluke right after it came out, after seeing a video for "It Don't Matter". Needless to say, it struck a resounding chord in me and after nearly five years and several worn-out copies, this cd remains as my favorite of all time and is always in my cd player. Sure, there's lots of swearing, but so does real everyday life, and this cd, like no other I have ever heard, captures the truth about the innate sadness of the human condition. It's a shame these guys never got the attention they deserved, because this cd is truly genius. All the answers to life's riddles can be found in the lyrics, they are truly profound if you're open-minded enough to listen. A true gem. Check out Brooks' solo album "Straight Outta Rehab" if you can find it, it's just as good!

5.0 out of 5 stars Crazy Town, with soul..., September 19, 2001
By "colinms" (Ann Arbor, Mi United States) - See all my reviews
My friend recommended Rehab with the simple description: "it's like Crazy Town, with soul..." At the time Crazy Town's first and only single 'Butterfly' was blowing up and sure I liked it, at first. It certainly lacked that certain something. I tried a little Rehab and haven't been the same since. Some may dismiss Rehab as an afterthought thinking it's a simple band using expletive lyrics and drug talk to sell a couple records. The two main members of the band actually met in rehab and formed the group due to their love of music and we are all the better for it. These two are inexplainably musically talented, they switch styles practically every song and every song is a near masterpiece. Those who like folk, country, rap, hard rock, alt rock, nearly anything can get into Rehab. Check out 'It Don't Matter' the duo's only single, 'Rattle My Cage', 'Stormchaser', 'More Like You' and 'Miss Jones' and you will get a good idea of what Rehab has in store.
