I ordered this from Amazon - what I got was a battery marked "Nokia", but in packaging from someone called Cellstar, which said they were responsible for warranty coverage, etc. I don't know where Cellstar gets these batteries, but I expected brand new Nokia product, in Nokia's retail packages, at these prices - not some mysterious grey-market or repackaged stuff.

I almost didn't order this product from Amazon, because of the earlier review that said the battery was repackaged and the warranty was covered by Cellstar. In case you have any misgivings based upon that review, my battery arrived in its original Nokia bubble pack, with a 1-year warranty covered by Nokia.

The 8260 uses the BLB-3 (920 mAh) battery and the 8290 uses the BLB-2 (650 mAh) battery. So it is not a good battery for both models since it doesn't fit the 8260!!!!!
