4.0 out of 5 stars Good product...good price!, December 31, 2001
By Penumbra (Atlanta, GA USA) - See all my reviews
(TOP 1000 REVIEWER)
This antenna works like a charm, and it's an excellent value for the price. There is a lot of interference in this area, but I've been enjoying a nice clear picture. It brings in the local VHF and large UHF stations quite clearly. The smaller UHF stations come in a bit fuzzy or only at certain times of day, but this antenna does a good job of boosting the signal.

This is quite easy to hook up, too. It comes with a coax to screw down adapter, so it should fit any TV right out of the box without requiring any additional trips to Radio Shack. A big plus in my book.

I like the modern appearance of the antenna. However, with both of the "rabbit ears" on the same end of the TV it seem kind of off balance. Since it's not fixed to the top of the TV set, it ends up on the floor a lot. It also gets moved from its optimal position, so you have to reposition it from time to time. Not a big deal...just an observation.

For the price, I don't see how you could do better than this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great value!, February 19, 2002
By "sugarplumber" (Forest Hills, NY USA) - See all my reviews
I am able to tune in channels that were previously quite impossible here, with this little antenna!! The antenna on the roof of this building is completely useless, at best. I am quite impressed and pleasantly surprised by the performance of this antenna that put only a tiny dent in my pocket!

1.0 out of 5 stars Too directional dependent, November 18, 2001
By A Customer
This antenna is too directional dependent. Almost always I have to re-adjust its orientation to obtain better reception on any one channel. In addition, if you live in an apartment very close to or surrounded by adjacent apartment blocks, forget about this antenna. Given most of the previous reviews, it will probably work okay if you live in small buildings.
