The MM61110 can display up to 1080i (interlaced) television signals (1,330,560 pixels) when combined with an HDTV receiver. Seven sets of audio-video inputs deliver an amazing range of state-of-the-art connectivity options. It's a perfect TV or computer monitor and makes an awesome display vehicle for your VCR, DVD, or game console. Best of all, you can connect all of these components at the same time, making the MM61110 the hub of your home theater system.

This monitor's picture can be precision tuned to your needs to offer optimum video performance, whether you're watching a high-definition movie or surfing the Web. Within the MM61110's 4:3 aspect ratio, you receive the same pixel resolution, inch for inch, as with an HDTV picture.

The MM6110 creates an immersive "live performance" listening experience from as few as two stereo speakers. Its front-fired speakers offer 10 watts per channel audio power for excellent localization of voices at the screen. Noise reduction restores dynamic range and suppresses unwanted noise to offer improved clarity and audio fidelity.

This monitor's buffet of built-in convenience features does include (but most certainly isn't limited to) Guide Plus+ Gold interactive programming, one-touch recording, an advanced twin-tuner picture-in-picture with commercial skip, built-in screen protector, parental lock, and a front-panel lock that prevents toddlers from changing your settings. The MM61110 comes with a universal illuminated remote control and detachable AC cord.

RCA covers this monitor with a one-year parts (2 years on picture tube) and labor warranty.

We recently purchased this RCA 61" "Monster" and love it. Everything is so easy to use. The picture quality is super even without digital television. We have it in our living room where the "ideal" setup is not possible and still the viewing angles are great no matter which chair/couch you are sitting on. You have to move all the way to the side of the TV before you really notice a loss of picture. We shopped around for a year before making the purchase and found that this TV had everything we wanted plus lots of convenient extras for a low price compared to it's competitors. The front jacks are great and make hooking up video camera/video game consoles so easy. We are very happy with our purchase and expect to enjoy this TV for a long time.

This product comes with great features, but the unit does not hold up with quality components. I purchased this TV in Nov 2001 and 3 weeks later the TV would shut off by itself. After a short period you could turn on again but the same problem would occur a few minutes later. After being in for warranty repair for seven weeks and several new parts the unit was declared unrepairable. Maybe I got a lemon but I would not recommend.
