Product Description

Amazon.com Product Description

Some of us demand much more from a phone than just a flash or redial button. For users who want extensive features, Uniden's TRU3465 delivers. Operating on the 2.4 GHz band, the phone uses digital transmission for exceptional range and minimal static. The three-line LCD in the handset works in conjunction with caller ID services, storing 50 names and numbers for easy viewing and quick callback, in addition to the 20 speed-dial presets.

The speakerphone lets you talk hands-free, or let the whole family in on the conversation. Of course, the phone also features the basics, like flash, redial with memory storing the last three numbers dialed, pause, and hold. In addition, you can dial either from the handset or from the base. The phone is not wall mountable, but does feature a belt clip and can be used in conjunction with an optional headset. Uniden provides a 90-day warranty.

Product Description

Uniden cordless phones are designed and engineered to exacting standards for reliability, long life, and outstanding performance. Digital Spread Spectrum Technology utilizes a wider frequency band and offers you the best defense against unwanted interference and provides superior voice communication security. The TRU3465 phone also features Call Waiting/Caller ID that displays the name and number of the caller in call waiting even while you are on the phone; 50 Number Caller ID Memory that stores 50 names and numbers in Caller ID memory for easy access; a backlit keypad that offers you added visibility for dialing at night or in low light and also 20 Number Memory Dialing for quick dialing.

3.0 out of 5 stars Missing critical feature, September 8, 2001
By "mgbruce" (Northern VA United States) - See all my reviews
I was disappointed that their was no mute button for the speakerphone. As a home office user who participates in several conference calls a week, this feature was a must have. Unfortunately I could not determine this from the online graphics. I have since upgraded to the TRU3485, which includes a digital answering machine that I don't need, but at least I have the key features.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great phone, August 13, 2002
By "mrmikemtr" (Thorndale, PA USA) - See all my reviews
After owning a Sony phone for a few years, I also decided to try a different brand. I have not been disappointed with the Uniden. The battery lasts for about 1 week before recharging is needed. Really don't use too many of the features except for the Caller ID! Very useful to screen out those pesky telemarketers!

5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent Phone for excellent price, March 9, 2002

(REAL NAME)
It is an excellent phone. The sound quality is great!
In addition using the memory to store numbers is very easy. You can by one click store numbres from the caller id feature. The phone itself is very comfortable size. Add the fact that you can dial and talk from the base and you can see why it is an excellent choice!
