They're simple to use: just press a tortilla into a baker, pushing it into the curves, and then bake it for 8 to 10 minutes. After a five-minute cool-down period, the now-crisp tortilla can be stuffed with beans, meat, lettuce, cheese, chiles, and whatever else you want. The 2-1/4-inch-deep by 8-1/2-inch-wide bakers can also be used for brioche (there's a good recipe on the box) and other breads, desserts, and molded salads. My boyfriend loves mexican so I got this for his birthday. We don't always like to have burritos so this is a great change. It is soooo easy to use. The only thing I would recommend is if you want your tortilla bowls to have more of a restaurant taste and texture do this: before you put the tortilla into the tortilla bowl brush/coat both sides of the tortilla with olive oil (or some other kind of oil). The result is a more crispy/flaky tortilla bowl, and it tastes great! :)

Drape the tortilla in the bowl, bake. Wipe clean. The tortilla bowls are crisp and excellent. I am a middle-aged guy just learning to cook. You can handle this too.

The taco shells come out nice and crispy and the cinnamon/sugar recipe suggested on the box is delicious. I wish it had come in a 4-pack set instead of only two, though...gets expensive having to order two sets. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 because of the price which I found a bit excessive considering this is only a pressed metal form that can literally be stamped out for a dime a dozen at the manufactoring plant where they are made.
