5.0 out of 5 stars Majority Rule- Interviews with David Frost, July 18, 2001
By A Customer
With their debut cd Majority Rule have mastered their sound to a point that takes most bands two or three albums to do. Majority Rule play music that would be tough to classify as hardcore. The songs feature just as many blast beats and screamy vocals as they do jazzy bass solos, amazing drum rolls, and hypnotic guitar effects. Although Interviews... bears almost no resemblence to any of the previously released 7"s, fans of the older stuff will find some familliar territory. To compare them to anyone would be to sell them short, but fans of hydrahead, lovitt, or magic bullet should check them out.

5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing..., April 7, 2003
By Eric Reynolds (Fairfax, VA United States) - See all my reviews
This album changed my whole outlook on music. Majority Rule is probably the first hardcore punk band i ever saw live... i was blown away. This album reaches levels of sheer beauty never before attained in by the genre. The screams are passionate and intense, the guitars sound on fire, the bass can go from overdriven and heavy to almost jazzy, and the drums... Pat is one of the best drummers i have ever heard, in any style. If you listen to any hardcore (Converge especially) buy this album. These guys don't have much of a fan base yet but they deserve it.

3.0 out of 5 stars a review of david frost, July 18, 2001
By Richard (converse, tx United States) - See all my reviews
i heard this cd from a relative of one of the band members. i listened to it. the music on it is really good. the only problem with this album is the singer is too screetchy. its like he was really struggling with the vocals. if he sang, or had a really deep voice, then it would be much better. i feel if they did another cd, and he practiced singing better, then they could do a really good album
