There was nothing else like the Ugly Americans. There still isn't except for the 2-3 shows a year the remaining members play in Austin as The Scabs. If you like good live music, funk, some blatant rock, and some original Texas sounds then look no further than here... And any other album by The Scabs and their multi-faceted front man Bob Schneider. Things will get a little raunchy at times in some of their music, so don't let the kiddies listen in until you've had the pleasure first. AAAA+

I've rarely seen a band who can punch you out of your socks live as well as on record. Not only can they get 20,000 people on their feet, they can shake up a backyard party in no time flat. This band reeks of summer and fun. Definely a CD to add to the collection for those times when caffine just won't do the job. I would also highly recommend you seeing them live at any cost ... there will be few other bands in your lifetime who can make you move like this.
