S.U.S.P.E.T.S. a 3-man hip-hop group base in Minneapolis consists of two MC's ( Golden and Jayechs) and o DJ(Squeeze,) Influenced by all music ranging for jazz and Latin to blues classical the crate and oftern eclectic and orginal sound

In 1991 childhood friends Golden and Jayechs decided to form a hip-hop/R&B do in the vain of Bell Biv Devo thy worked ot songs with simple harmonies and clever hip-hop breakdown. Soon they wrer making tapes for friends but the effort was unfulfilling. Thier true passion was hip-hop . Listening to artists like Public Enemy, BDP, Eric B, and Rakim, De La Soul, A tribe Called Quest, PRT, and NWA, the two friends found themselves dispensing their R&B sound for their true passion hip-hp , Jayechs and Golden spent most of their wakign hours freestyling, battling , and writing countiess songs. This was the birth of S.U.S.P.E.C.T.S

In September 1993, S.U.S.P.E.C.T.S indpendently released their debut " Susppects 94 EP which was well received in the local underground hip-hop community for lack of budget supects 94 was duplicated on Maxell 60 minute tapes and given away to anyone who would listen. The foloow up EP 1996 Reflections marked the beginning of Jayechs carer as a producer. Tird Of dealing the locat promoter, produccers, and stragglers, he began to hammer out chords and melodies on the Ensoniq SQ-2 develop the music and group into a more thoughtful, coherent unit.

S.U.S.P.E.C.T.S put out their first full length LP, Time Will Tell in 1999. The album recorded during pring bread from Golden hs college in Saint Paul, MN dealt with heavy subjet matter but was limited by the constraints of the keyboard it was produced on . After post-production on it was to complete, Jayechs joined hs partner in Minnesota to work on more music, In order to distribuet and market themselves,, SU.S.P.E.T.C.S decided to start Souls of Life Records, with the help of artists Jacques Ku'Sto and NX2kn.

Over the course of the next two years S.U.SP.E.C.T.S became regulars in the Twin City music scens. The addidtion on the third and final pieace of the puzzle, DJ Squeeze solidified the group and thier sound. At only seventeen year of age, Squeeze to become and indispensable asset to S.U.S.P.E.C.T

During thier schedule of constant shows and endless support for their lablemates projects. S.U.S.P.E.C.T.S found time to build a studio in Minneapolis and began work on their second LP. Delusions of Grandeur. With over 50 songs recorded by early 2001 S.U.S.P.E.C.T.S released a full length undergound album entitled Structure This coupled with the sucess of thier first single released of 2001 for hip-hop fans i the reigion.

S.U.S.P.E.C.T.S have succesfully created a new sound, blending thier layered artistry with a just the rith amound of mainstram apeal. Over ten years, five release, adn hundreds of show S.U.S.P.E.C.T.S have refined thier style, sound and image in a unique brand of hip-hop that moves mind, body and soul.
