5.0 out of 5 stars wowzers! brazilian death metal!, September 20, 2003
If you are looking to get into this INCREDIBLE brazilian death metal band well then, look elsewhere! hehehe...although this is my favorite krisiun album I don't think it is their most accesible mostly because the way the drums are mixed, they are just mixed kind of weird on the album but it sounds pretty sweet anyway, well yeah this is an INCREDIBLE album though and it features my favorite krisiun song saviours blood! so yeah get conquerers of armagedon and then get this.

5.0 out of 5 stars This time around not just SPEED but TECHNICALITY!!!!!, November 9, 2001
By Carlos (Ft Lauderdale FL) - See all my reviews
I don't even know where to begin, this band continues to blow my mind,Krisiun never ever lets up, the intensity they put forth on this album is so extreme its mind blowing. Let me start by saying that Ageless Venemous introduces us to a new more mature Krisiun, by mature I don't mean that they have become less aggressive as that term usually insinuates. What we have here is a band that has kept their trademark sound (which is insane speed all the time) and added a lot of technicality to their already insane sound. Where as some bands who after 3 or 4 albums either water down their sound, or change their sound completly usually as a result of lack of creativity, Krisiun will not have any of that. Continuing where they left off with Conquerers of Armaggedon, Krisiun have added some truly twisted riffs to their already very impressive arsenal from the first track "Perpertuation" (One of the best opening tracks ever!!!!)to the last "Sepulchral Oath" Krisiun takes you on journey( very fast journey) that will leave your jaw gaping. A must have for any fan of Metal, this is the album of 2001. All Hail Krisiun!!!

3.0 out of 5 stars clickety clack, August 17, 2004
By Dimension (New Jersey) - See all my reviews
The reason why the drums sound so f'd-up is that they are triggered and mixed horribly. In an attempt to gain clarity on what is truly exceptional speed, they tried to avoid a muddy result (see Morbid Angel's "Covenant" album). Yet, I can't help but feel that this album is so overproduced that they have lost the intensity. "Conquerers of Armageddon" was equally as fast -- still triggered -- but not overdone; a far superior and more intense album. All in all, though, the songwriting has improved and many of the songs are simply mindcrushing. It's too bad that the great musicianship is ruined by the rat-a-tat-tat of the drums.

Krisiun fell short on this one despite the awesome track "Saviours Blood." The drums sound weak as hell and in this genre that is a terrible thing. Read more

Ageless Venoms, Krisiuns post-Conquerors album. You see, Krisiun tried the classic Slayer tactic of trying to outdo themselves in every album. But does it work here? Read more
