This cd is supposed to put you into a deep sleep (called "delta" sleep). It worked for me. When I got the cd I put it on the cd player just to hear it and it made me very drowsy even though it was about 4 hours until bedtime. I play it all night and I wake up less often. I also remember more dreams after listening to it all night. The music is a kind of subtle, low-pitched white noise, but it's a musical white noise, not like a toned-down radio static white noise. I would recommend it if you are having trouble sleeping or waking up a lot during the night or if you just want a more relaxed slumber.

I bought this CD half-expecting it to work. I was willing to give it a shot, but, if it didn't work after the third try, I planned to sell it to someone else. I got home at almost midnight (following a brutal shift at a clothing retailer) to find that the disc had arrived. I put it in my CD player and laid down for the night.

I died, then.

I awoke the next morning feeling so well-rested that I swore I'd gotten ten hours of beautiful sleep. I got seven and a half hours, but it felt like so much more. I've been using this CD constantly for over a week and a half, and I have been getting the best sleep I've gotten in YEARS.

Dr. Thompson was wrong to title this CD as being musical in nature... it's merely sonic. Most of what you hear has no perceivable rhythm; it is, instead, a flowing river of new-age sounds. It lulls you right to sleep. Tip? Just make sure to keep the CD on overnight...

I was wondering if this will work since i have diffculties sleeping. Within 15 minutes I was gone!. You could have called and shaken my bed and I wouldnt even move. You go into such a deep sleep that you wake up still floating. Works as good as ambien!
