The Best Of, March 12, 2002
Well, what a wonderful collection of songs all bundled up neatly in one CD. All the hits are here, while most are in it's initial album version format, some are edited, some are remixed, some are live versions to provide variation. Withs songs from each and every album they have released contributing to this album, it's a very fair representation of the Corrs. Coming out of the their debut album "Forgiven, Not Forgotten" are "Runaway", "Forgiven, Not Forgotten", "Love To Love You", "The Right Time" and "Erin Shore" which is an unreleased instrumental track. From their "Talk On Corners" CD came "Only When I Sleep", "I Never Loved You Anyway", "Dreams", "What Can I Do" and "So Young". Out of their "Unplugged" CD came "Radio" and their REM cover "Everybody Hurts". And from their last CD "In Blue", came "Breathless", "Irresistible", "Give Me A Reason" and "All The Love In The World". Along with this best of CD comes two new tracks "Would You Be Happier" the leading single and "Make You Mine". If you are interested, try searching for the Australian edition of this CD as you get an extra track titled "Lifting Me" which brings the total to 19 tracks. But this collection is good enough. Also watch out for the new "Live In Dublin" CD.

Definitely "Best Of", October 17, 2002
Have you ever bought a 'greatest hits' album only to find it swimming in filler tracks? Fear not, discouraged music listener! This record reflects its title; it IS the best of the Corrs. In 1995, the Irish siblings released their first single, 'Runaway', and the music world was forever changed. Suddenly, tin whistles, bodhrans, and violins were playing alongside drum sets and electric guitars in some of the most beautifully-crafted songs ever recorded. All of the albums are well-represented on this collection. The early works from "Forgiven Not Forgotten" are here, from the gentle 'Runaway' to the dark 'Forgiven Not Forgotten'. Smash "Talk On Corners" adds classics such as the vivid 'Only When I Sleep', the sexy 'I Never Loved You Anyway', the gentle 'What Can I Do' and the youth anthem 'So Young'. The MTV "Unplugged" comes in with the melancholy 'Radio', as well as two live tracks, the instrumental 'Lough Erin Shore' and the touching cover of REM's 'Everybody Hurts'. "In Blue" is here as well, featuring the radio sensation 'Breathless' and the brilliant 'Give Me A Reason'. As well as their past hits, the Corrs present fans with two new songs, both worthy of 'best of' status. 'Will You Be Happier?', a hit single in Europe, is about the uphill battle for perfection, while the catchy 'Make You Mine' is about the wait for love. Few bands can accumulate so many hits in such a short time span (six years). The Corrs, however, are, as always, the exception. Every song here is a destined to be a classic, and some are already. Want a great sampling of the Corrs' music? This is it. Fillers not included.

Great mix of songs, must get for someone new to the Corrs, June 20, 2002
There are some amazing best of CDs. John Hiatt's the AM years and Mirrorball come to mind. Now I only have 2 other Corrs CDs, Forgiven not Forgotten and Live in Dublin and there are many overlaps between those 2 and the songs here, but I am still very glad I bought this CD. ...So what do you get? First you get 72 minutes worth of songs. You get a marvelous version of Everybody Hurts. I have come to realize that Andrea could sing Mary Had a Little Lamb or the Spam song from Monty Python and it would sound wonderful. I like the version they have of So Young and the Radio version is very good. Every song on the CD is fantastic. And just like Mirrorball for me (although I bought another Sarah McLaughlin CD afterwards) if this is your first Corrs CD it is likely to become one of your favorite CDs ... Other favorites are Runaway, still the definitive Corrs song in my mind, I Never Really Loved You Anyway, Love to Love You, What Can I Do. The booklet comes with numerous photos....but they are all very small. I liked the pics of posters of shows and tickets from shows. Also if you have ever seen the video for I Never Really Loved You Anyway it has a very funny ending when they switch instruments and mimic trying to play them. They have a couple of photos from that part of the video. If you have some Corrs CDs but not all then you should get this and if you have no Corrs CDs this is a MUST get, it will Leave You Breathless.
