The Rock is probably the only guy in history who's as much fun to listen to as to watch wrestle. The man works a microphone better than anyone, with wit and flair that charm even non-wrestling fans. The best thing that can be said about
Just Bring It! is that the WWE includes a ton of the Rock's interviews that are laugh-out-loud funny. However, as far as the matches go, well, let's just say that the Brahma Bull's in-ring shtick is getting as predictable and old as Hulk Hogan's leg drop. Though from the outside this looks like a comprehensive look at the Rock's career (à la the infinitely superior
Hulk Still Rules), it's not; instead it covers 2000 to '02, a time when the Rock was focusing more on acting (there's some behind-the-scenes footage from
The Scorpion King) than wrestling. Except for the Rock vs. RVD, the matches are underwhelming and can be found on numerous pay-per-view DVDs. The Rock is called the People's Champion. If that's the case, the WWE needs to give the people what they deserve: a comprehensive Rock DVD.
