1.0 out of 5 stars Fifty Dollars ?! someone should be made to suffer, May 25, 2005
I saw where some soulless sack of trash is selling this for $50 used on here...I hope you get violently ill. Greed of that amount is sickening, capitalizing on loyal fans with a deeper appreciation of music than most will get you a scholarship to hell.

that being said, for all you newer Canibus fans, or anyone who hasnt heard this album, please dont even give a second thought to these absurd prices. just pretend this release never happened. this nearly ended his career. "Box Cutta Blade Runner" and, argubaly "Draft Me" are the only 2 songs on here you will ever want to hear again. pick up any of his other albums, as he does not have a bad one aside from this, and they are all worth your Money. he even has some EP's at his micclub website like "Brainstream" and "My Name is Nobody" that you would be much better off with. this may be the worst album ever put out by an artist of this skill level. I remember picking this up on its first day back in late 01. one of the biggest disapiontments ever, especially after the incredible 2000 BC.

If your foolish enough to still waste an absurd amount of money on this, to "complete your canibus collection" thats suspect. you wont be playing this album again after hearing it. Anyone who buys this will regret it later

5.0 out of 5 stars "Hip hop heads" don't know real rhyming, February 26, 2004
By Ty (Canada) - See all my reviews
Canibus is a genius. Although this album does not even compare to Canibus' most recent album, Rip the Jacker, the rhymes are nearly flawless. He tells the story of Eminem's Stan throughout the entire album. Canibus used a lot of his creative juices to tell this story from track to track. For those who think that this album is pointless, have a look at the state of hip hop right now. Canibus is only making fun of what's in the mainstream right now. Rappers like Jay-Z, Nelly, or newer rappers like Chingy are not "lyrically fit" like Bis and he's laughing at those who sell their souls to make some cash in the industry. Bis released this on an independent label and that, in itself, shows his confidence as an emcee, let alone his immaculate battle rhymes.

2.0 out of 5 stars WEAK, November 2, 2002
By A Customer
Alright, I'll just go through this track for track

1-Intro-pointless
2-Stan Lives!-I'm not gonna lie, it's a little funny.
3-U Didn't Care-TERRIBLE!
4-The Rip Off-Mediocre beat, some pretty hot lines, but also some pretty corny ones. When he started talking about blood tasting like read toothpaste, it gives you the feeling Canibus has truly fallen off.
5-CTHS- One of the few good beats on the album is wasted by Canibus' spoken word session. YAY!
6-Different Vibe In LA-One of the better tracks on the album. The lyrics are tight, and while the beat doesn't go with the concept of the song, it's decent. But the hook is wack.
7-I Gotta Story To Tell-One of the few times Bis sounds hungry on this album. Nothing special really, but decent.
8-Stan and Can'-I also thought this was a little funny.
9-Hate U Too-Um, I really don't know what to say. It's good for laugh, I'll give it that.
10-Stop Smokin'-Someone should tell Canibus to lay off that rock.
11-Lemme Hear Somethin' Else-This is actually good. The beat is ok (nothing special), Pacman comes decent, and Bis' verse is straight fire. His best verse on the album.
12-Hot Tonight-The lyrics are actually tight, but the beat and hook is terrible. Even though I was laughing during the hook.
13-R U In Lyrical Fitness?-First verse on the song is horrible, but Bis' verse is pretty good.
14-Gotta Get That Doe-Canibus' verse was fire, and Pacman was ok. But the hook is wack and the beat is um, aight.
15-Ya Teeth is Yellow-Hilarious!
16-Luv You Too-Same reaction has Hate U Too.
17-Boxcutter,Bladerunner-Good song. The beat is hot and the lyrics are pretty good.
18-Draft Me!-Well, I did laugh. Some of the lyrics aren't bad, even though the beat is horrendous and the hook is well, at least it's funny.
19-One of My Favorites-I also thought this was funny. Maybe it's just my humor.
20-CTHS outro-It's just a beat, and a somewhat good one at that.
21-freestyle-Reminds you of Canibus in his prime.

If your a hardcore Canibus fan, some parts of the album are worth listening to. But it isn't worth buying.
