Visions of Pegasus, January 18, 2002
By A Customer
This DVD is the first in the 4th season of Sailormoon, SuperS. One night, shortly after the Sailor Soldiers defeated the Death Busters, Chibiusa meets a mysterious Pegasus in a dream. The next day brings a solar eclipse, and a new enemy! When Sailormoon and Sailor Chibimoon try to defeat the monsters sent out against them, they don't have enough power. Now what?!? In a flash of golden light, the Pegasus from Chibiusa's dream appears and makes tham Super Sailor Soldiers. With their newfound power, Moon and Chibimoon defeat the enemy. But who is this mysterious Pegasus? Why did he appear to Chibiusa? And who is this mysterious kitten that shows up one day and attaches herself to Artemis?A lot of people say that SuperS is the worst season of Sailormoon, I don't agree. The reasons most of them hate SuperS are because Chibiusa is the main character, the fact that SuperS isn't as serious as S, and that the Outer Solar System Soldiers aren't in it. Even though those things are true, it doesn't make SuperS a bad season. It has a lot of good points: the animation, the musical score, the villians, the new transformations and attacks, good episodes focusing on the individual Sailor Soldiers, etc. SuperS is a good season; maybe not as good as S, but darn good in its own right. (Plus, its absolutely perfect for Chibiusa fans like myself!)

Everyone always puts down SuperS, December 2, 2001
Hi everyone. I would just like to take a minute and write a little about the Sailor Moon series which always seems to get dumped on by everyone. Sailor Moon SuperS begins right where the action of Sailor Moon S (which I also recommend you buy) leaves off. Chibi-usa is sleeping before she is going to go to see the eclipse with her friends. It is in this dream that the mysterious horse Pegasus emerges and asks her to tell noone of their encounter. When she awakens... she is obviously questioning whether or not the dream was real. She goes to the park to meet her friends (the Sailor Senshi of course) and it is also at this time that the Dead Moon Circus arrives. Leaving everyone questioning who it could be. While I will agree that SuperS doesn't have as much action as it's 3 predecesors. SuperS has some of the best voice acting, and a wonderful action which progresses through the episodes ( probably v.1 DVD, and v.5+6 will be mot evident.) I urge everone who has not seen it, or has only seen the english dub :0( to buy this DVD (...)
